DHS Marching Panthers

The Dillard High School Marching Band, known as "The Force," is open to all students at Dillard High School. While it is an optional activity for students in the DCA Music Program, it also welcomes students outside the performing arts program. All wind and percussion members must be enrolled in a band class to participate.

For decades, the DHS Marching Panthers have energized crowds with dynamic performances and showmanship. The band is widely recognized as one of the most requested and respected marching ensembles in South Florida. That tradition continues today, with every performance pushing the boundaries of musical and visual excellence.

Joining the Marching Panthers gives new students a strong sense of community from day one. Before the school year even begins, members connect during our preseason band camp, forming friendships that last throughout high school and beyond. This supportive “band family” plays a key role in helping students transition successfully into high school life.

"The Force" performs at all home football games, most local away games, parades, and high-profile events across the tri-county area. Students also participate in Dillard’s orientation event, Panther Preview, where they meet classmates and prepare for the marching season.
